Mr.. W. E. Grieve, of Mackinnoo, Mackenzie and Co., was summoned for driving at 25 miles per hour in the controlled area of Queen's Road East at 7.35 am on March 25, and for driving without a valid licence. He admitted both offences and was fined $10 on each count.

Mr. R. G. Geer, of Jardine, Mathe- son and Co., summoned for driving his car in a westerly direction in Chater Road on March 25, was fined $5. The road is only open to traffic proceeding cast.
