How long will it be before Malayans will be able to travel. by motor between England and the Far East? That question is prompted by the progress which has already been made with a trans-Continental kighway in Europe.

The great 2,000-mile road from London to Istanbul is nearing completion. Several countries along the route are puttin finishing touches to improvement plans which make the highway a perfect road.

From London the road goes via Maidstone and Folkestone to Dover. Stretches past Maidstone are being improved.
