The Imports and Exports Department (Statistical Branch) reports that. the combined values of imports and exports of merchandise (excluding Treasure) na declared during the month of Februnry, 1938, totalled $79.9 millions (£4.9 millions) ne compared with $69.4 millions (£1.3 millions) in February, 1937. In terms of local currency the total visible trade of the Colony (excluding Treasure) increased by 15.1% in February, 1938, as compared with February, 1937, and by 14.0% in terms of sterling.
