Brigade: The addition to this Agreement are carried by the Department by the establishment of a new fire station at Yau Ma Tei and by the provision made for an Engineer to take charge of the steam Crane in Victoria Engines and to be attached permanently to the Brigade. The vote will depend upon the report made by a Commission which is about to be appointed.
211 In respect to the Vote for "Works and Buildings, Roads, Streets and Drainage", I have to differ from the Estimates of 1876 and offer the following explanations:
Reservoir at Pokfulam. The Vote has been necessarily increased for Maintenance of Water Works.
Public Garden $11,000 each for Protestant Cemetery. The small additions under Land Survey are also very reasonable.
Alteration of the existing Temporary Hospital is unavoidable.
