delayed beyond the usual time in consequence of my desire to have the large monetary operations connected with the Praya, Central School and Civil Hospital disposed of during the ensuing year. Your Lordships will observe that in respect to the expenses of the Departments, the Estimates for 1877 are in close accord with those of 1876. The differences save such as have been already sanctioned by Your Lordship are as follows:- Colonial Treasury. 3rd clerk a small increase of $300 per month.
