Inspector II. W. Fraser, attached to the Secretariat for Chinese Affairs, said he was visiting No. 101 Wanchai Road, Arst floor, where there was a suspected mui-tsal, when his atten- tion was drawn to the ground floor residence. He went there, found the girl who was working with an amah and a cook.
The girl had been presented to re- latives of defendant when she was five years old, and had later been transferred to defendant. Sho was very well-treated, and had ample food and clothing, and did not wish to leave the woman's charge.
