The Air Raids Precautions Depart- ment of the Home Office is becoming an Empire Clearing House for In- formation and advice on all matters concerning civil precautions against air raids.
Through the Dominions and Colonial Offices men from all over the Empire are being sent to the instruction centres and gas schools organised by Wing Commander Hodsoll, ehlef of the Air Italds Pro- cautions Department.
Recently men from India, Palestine, the West Indies, Australia, the Afri- can Colonies. Aden, Shanghai, and Singapore have been through full instruction courses, or have threshed out their local problems with the do- partment's experts.
They will return to set up their own instruction centres under in- structors trained in this country.”
