LEAGUE FOOTBALL RETURNS TO NORMAL AGAIN

FOUR SENIOR

GAMES FIXED FOR TO-DAY

MIDDLESEX OUT TO BEAT SOUTH CHINA "A"

(By "Abo").

After several weeks of Shield and holiday pro. grammes, League Football in the Colony returns to normal to-day with a full quota of matches in all divisions. Four senior games will be decided this afternoon.

South China "A"-Choo Slew- hong: Mak Shlu-hon, LI Tần sank; Leung Wing-chlu, Lasu Hling-choi, Lee Kwok-wai; Tang Kwong-sum, Lai Shiu-wing, Fung, King-cheung, Cheuk Shek-kam and Cheung Moon- wing.

Though they have played only nineį matches, South China " lead the field with 17 points, only one below the maximum, and it is extremely unlikely that their undetented record will be spolled to-day when they meel the Club at Caroline Hill. thr weak against Chinese eleven, it is possible that they will just about scrape through. Row- lands, who has been such a lower of strength in the lost line of defence, Is nursing a bad ankle, while Ullrich is also on the injured list. To make matters worse, Bliss, their energetle centre-half, will be working, I am told, and will not be available. As a result, Eastmann has been brought back to the side in place of Ullrich: Evans goes to centre-half and Jeffries will be between the sticks. How the new combination will work together remains to be seen, but if the Chinese seize their opportunities, it is quite on the cards that this game may give them their first point or points.

forwards in the South Ching line-up,

The Seaforths slipped badly In their arst meeting with the Police, and it is not likely that they will be caught napping again. if the Police forwards were a little more dangerous in front of goal, I would would hesitate to say which side emerge with the points; but as things are now, I think the Seaforths will be able to take their revenge.
