Control Pay Office Hong Kong July 26th 1897.
I have the honour to inform you that the sum of £148-15-0 being the interest on the purchase money of Crosby's store for the half year ending 30th June last, is due to the Military Secretary of State for War in accordance with War Office letter No. 442 dated 20/2/4/94. And to request that you will have the goodness to cause the amount to be paid unto H.M. Treasury.
