Canton, Dec. 23, Several Japanese planes were sighted from Shameen this morning bending westward, and a few minutes later the thunder of bombs faintly audible throughout Canton.
The Japanese planea returned in the afternoon and again dropped bamba west of Canton, it is-belleved at Samshui, an important commercial town, but there have been no details.
The Canton-Kowloon Nallway was also bombed during the morning activity, mix bomba being 'dropped in the vicinity of kilometre 119 without much damage.
