FIRST WIN FOR THE HOME SIDE
Of the three matches scheduled for the Mixed Doubles Badminton League last evening, only one was played, the other two being postponed by
mutual arrangement.
St. Andrew's visited Talkoo, and though they were confidently exprel- ed to win against the home side which had not won a clugle point from four matchen, they were nar- rowly beaten, the issue going to the Anal gaine.
Talkoo won because in G. A. Smith and Musa R, Summers, they had a pair who were better than any from the Saints, Smith and Miss Sum- mers' won all their three games, and a fine victory by A. Keown and Miss A. Fraser in the last and deciding gamu over H. Kew and Miss White Kave the homesters their initial vic- Inry.
