Severn Leigh Appeal Fails

The appeal by the Captain of the British freighter, Severn Leigh, falled at the Supreme Court, Appellate Jurisdiction, this morning, when the Court, comprising the Chile? Justice Siz Atholl MacGregor anct Mr. Justice J. A. Fraser, held that respon- dents were remarkably reasonable.
In view however, of the importance and the difficully of the question on which the appeal was based, their Lordships intimated that they would give their reasons in writing.
The appeal was brought as a result of respondents being found not guilty and discharged on September 20 by the Hon. Commander J. B.
