In conclusion it occurs to me to say that in China scarcely anything in the way of schoolbooks can be regarded as complete, so that the existence of a book on any particular subject is no good reason why the same subject should not be taken up by another writer.
I shall be happy to send you for transmission to Stoughton copies of such of our publications as may come within the scope of the request of His Excellency - the Governor.
