DETAIL OF CHARGE

The circumstantial letter stated that: Wilson called at the Tarnar to draw his Naval Pension. The sum of $108.20 was pald him by Pay.- LA-Cmdr. Brilton, the Assistant Ac- countant Officer. Wilson then asked accused, who is the senler accountant rating in that office, if he could remit £0 of his pension money to his wife. The accused assented, made out Form S.06 in triplicate for 25 in favour of Mra. Elsie K. Wilson, 3, Larkfield Avenue, Gillingham, Kent. Chiet Engine loom Artificer Wilson signed the form and handed $81.30 to ac cused. The official rate of the Hong- kong dollar was then is. 24.

The accused, saying that he "would give this money to the Paymaster right away," left the office ostensibly to do so. He returned and said to Wilson: "That is all right, it will be forwarded by, the next Air Moli and I will send on your receipt." On September 23 Wilson received a cable from his wife asking him to send her £5 60 that she might settle her district rates.
