have had inquiry
for this tariff,
everywhere
and the only tariff
procurable in Canton was a
Chinese
translation of the Kentron tariff.
This was
obviously not the one.

by a merchant who traded between
Canton, Swatow, the treaty Coast ports, Siam and Singapore some years ago.
