CROWNING THE LATE KING-This historic scene occurred Inside Westminster Abbey when the late King George V and Queen Mary were crowned on June 22, 1911. Queen Mary is sented at the right und King George is at the left centre, wearing his crown. At upper left, in the balcony, are their three children, Royal Princess Mary, Prince Edward, who recently abdleated the throne, and Prince Albert, now King George VI.

CROWN OF INDIA-Here is the Imperial Crown of India which King George VI will wear when he is crowned Emperor of Indic at Delhi. English law prevents removal of St. Edward's Crown or the Imperial State Crown from England. This crown was made for the late King George V. It contains 6,170 diamonds.

PEERS OF THE REALM AT FREVIOUS CORONATION-When King George VI, at his coronation in Westminster Abbey, London, on Wednesday, has received St. Edward's Crown on his head, at the hands of the Archbishop of Canterbury, trumpets will sound a mighty fanfare, cannon will boom at the Tower of London, two miles away, and peers and peeresses will lift up their coronets, and put them on.
