Louisville, Ky., May 8. The sixty-third running of the Kentucky Derby, America's greatest turf classic, will be held to-day at Churchill Downs, A record crowd is expected. For the last two days thou- sands of enthusiasts have been streaming into this city from all parts of the country, From the field of 103 entries that were nominated in March, about 20 will go to the post to compete for vas! the $50,000 added prize and prestige of winning this mile and a of the quarter race.
