DUAL-WAVEBAND BATTERY SUPERHETERODYNE WITH THE NEW VIBRATOR-UNIT. Wave-range: 16.5-51 m., 200-580 m.
The Mullard "Hudson" (Type X 28BV1 marks an entirely now departure in battery set operation. One six volt accumulator, in conjunction with the new Vibrator Unit supplies all necessary voltage to the receiver. This now arrangement not only eliminates many of the disadvantages of H.T. battery operation, but gives much better performance than is possible with H.T. batteries.
