ROOF GARDEN STARS
Szita, Anis Came To H.K. On Belated Honeymoon
By "FIRST NIGHT" HAVING danced with
Eleanor Anis for eight years, Charles Szita finally
combining business with pleasure,-as it were.
These two stars have toured Europe and the Americos, and have found nothing yet to equat this part of the world.
"Hongkong 13 as beautiful as cosmopolitan," Ants enthused when. I saw her during rehearsal this morn- Ing.
"Charles wasn't RO keen' shoul never coming out East, but we've had a quarrel in eight years," "Why" 1 naked. "China?"

persuaded her to marry from the States. Besides, I've al- him.
But only on condition that they spent their honeymoon in the Far East.
That was two years ago. Business intervened, and Szita and Anis reluctantly put off the honeymoon trip until 1937.
Yesterday they arrived in Hongkong, thrilled to bits at be- ing in the part of the Orient about which their friends have raved so much.
To prove which, she turned over the pages of a press-book and showed me innumerable "chop-suey", menus from some of America's "Chinatown' restaurants.
The team started dancing in Chicago almost a decade ago, and confess that, outside the Far East. It's the one place in the world they'd like to be.
As a matter of fact, Miss Ania wis born in Chicago, of Polish parents. Her real name is Aniszewska, She has been in vaudeville since she was 13. --
