TO BE DEPORTED AFTER SENTENCE
A 33-year-old unemployed Russian, Nicholas Kouznetzoff, was charged before Mr. K. Keen. at the Central Magistracy this morning with stowing away on the Dollar liner President Coolidge from Shanghai to Hong- kong, and with entering the Colony without a passport.
Detective-Sergeant P. H. Loughlin -stoled --that-defendant.......arrived in Hongkong on April 12, and had travelled from Shanghai on the ship without a ticket. According to de- fendant's own story, he had come to the Colony with the intention of fait ing a ship to Australia, presumably by stowing away, as had no money. He also told the police that he had entered the United States without proper papers in 1935, and had been deported.

Keen Central Magistracy this at the morning to a charge of snatching a handbag containing $38.20 in money, a gold watch valued at $20, a gold rafian bangle, valued at $2.20, and a fountain pen valued at $2, from married woman, Tain Mo-yeuk, at Chancery Lane, yesterday.
