The Military interests of this Colony have been much neglected

It is also to be borne in mind that the construction of a General Military Hospital may eventually be considered necessary.

Medical Officers are opposed to the present system of a Floating Hospital, and many inconveniences certainly result from this arrangement. The proposed transfer involves the loss of the only practicable Rifle Range.
