After a narrow escape from death when a giant RA.F. flying boat crashed in taking off during the recent Singapore manoeuvres, the officer and crew made gallant at- tempts to reach Pilot Officer Blair, who was trapped in the wrecked hull 20 feet below the surface of the sea.
