This passage from a letter written by one of two men found dead in a gas-filled room was read at a Frien Barnet. (Middlesex) inquest recently.

The men were Aibert George Grimes (26), whose parents live at Mays Lane, Barnet, and James Thomas Rich (21), of Aveton Road, East Finchley,

The Jury returned a verdict that Grimes committed suicide while of unsound mind, but found there was not enough evidence to show how Rich died.
