In a simple but impressive ceremony on board the U.S.A. Euron, Rear Admiral-1, IL Allen, who has been in charge of the United States Yangtze Patrol, relinquished his com mand to his successor, Rear-Admiral Edward John Marquart. Top picture shows part the main ceremony In the presence of paraded officers and ratings, while in the lower pleture, the retiring Admiral, who had changed into civilian clothes, ready to go ashore, is seen Raying good-bye to his successor. Three days after these pliotos were taken-Mrs:-Marquart— died in Iankow.

Consignees of Cargo are hereby in- formed that all Goods Bre being landed at their risk into the hazar

hazardous Go- dous and/or extra downs of The Hongkong and Kow- loon Wharf and Godown Co., Ltd., whence and/or from the wharves delivery may be obtained.

No claims will be admitted after the Goods have left the Godowns, and all Goods remaining undeliver- ed after the 23rd March, 1937, will be subject to rent.

All claims against the steamer must be presented to, the Undersign- cd on or before the 6th April, 1937, or they will not be recognized.

To comply with the General Bond- ed Warehouse Regulations consignees must have a Revenue Office in at- tendance when damaged dutiablo goods are examined.

Consignees are hereby informed that their goods with the exception of Opium, Treasure and Valuables ere being landed and stored into the Godowns of the Hongkong Kowloon Wharf and Godown Co. Ltd., Kow- loon whence delivery may be ob tained immediately after landing.

All claims must be sent in to me on or before 30th March, 1937, or they will not be recognized,

Damaged Packages will be examin- ed by the Company's Surveyor Messra-Goddard and Douglas in the presence of the Consignees at 10.00 am on Thursday, 28th March, 1037.
