morning the American Schooner Scotland arrived having in tow a small Schooner called the Joaquina y Ana, which belonged to Captain Hayes, when he took on board the eight convicts from the Spanish settlement in April 1875. William Mann, his chief Officer, is on board, and states that the captain of the Scotland had them and boat released by paying $400 dollars to the natives
