I have the honour to transmit to you for the information of H.E. The Governor copies of certain correspondence received from Her Majesty's Foreign Office and Colonial Office in reference to the apprehension of William W. Kayes spoken of in my letter addressed to you on the 28th of June last year.

The said Kayes having been released by the Spanish Authorities
