New York, Feb. 21. The New York Times' Mexico City correspondent state that he learns ometally that a low has been drafted tending towards the gradual elimina- tlon of foreign oil companies trun Mexico. It is proposed to create an entirely Government-owned company to handle all the Government oil business, including the collection of royalties and rentals from foreign companies.
This new company, moreover, will be granted lenses on all new oilfields, and the leases now held by foreign companies will be transferred to the Government combine on their ex- piration.
The draft law also provides for the acquisition of pipe lines, tanks, ter- minals, refineries and ships at pre- sent operated in the Mexican oll trade by foreign concerns.-Reuter.
