HIS JOB ΤΟ PROVOCATION QUESTION BY JUDGE
The organiser of the British Union of Fascists, Thomas Patrick Moran, gave evidence at Swansea Assizes recently when 31 men and five women again appeared on riot charges.
The charges arose out of n Fasciat meeting at De Winton Field, Tonypandy, on June 11 last. It is alleged that attempts were made to rush a Fascist van on which were several men wearing black shirts.
There was a further separate charge against John Parry, an unemployed haulier, of assault- ing two police oflleers.
The case for the prosecution closed and the Court adjourned until to-day. All the defendants except one were allowed bail.
Moran anid that his mer, first of all distributed pamphlets, but when the crowd spat upon the pamphlets and tore them up he remalled the men into the van. The nititude of the crowd at this time was very hostile
