Glazing: the whole of the Barker and sarkes and fanlight to be glazed with seconds Newcastle crown, 21 oz of the sort, bedded in putty and free from all defects.

The lower sashes of W.C., bath rims and sundry windows to be glazed with small-fluted rough plate 1/8" thick.

141. Cleaning. All the glazing to be left clean and perfect on completion; the floors to be thoroughly sound and cleaned.

142. Internal.

Ironwork etc to be subject to examination before being painted.

Every portion of the work comprising between the processes to be examined.

The paint to be sound and all materials of the best quality: the whole of the paint to be mixed on the works.

All coats to be properly prepared : woodwork twice primed and all work to be carefully stopped and rubbed down between each coat.

Painting externally.

Painting finishes in linseed oil and white lead all external wood and ironwork and finish in two coats, same colour.

Down pipes, window sashes and sash doors and ironwork to be painted two coats, same colour.
