A manhole for access to the tank to be formed in the top, with stone covering slab, fitted with a flushing grating and ventilating shaft, and in the bottom of the tank a shallow wash out well should be provided for cleaning purposes. Great care must be taken not to connect the overflow pipe of this tank with any part of the foul drainage system.
