The Hon'ble Gardiner Austin,

States that no reference can be obtained from the Local Government respecting the registered letters for Manila.

Hongkong, 1st March, 1876.

We the undersigned have the honour to inform you that on the 18th April 1874, we posted two letters via S.S. Marivelles for Manila, having registered the same at the time of posting.

One was addressed to Messrs Macleod & Pickford, Manila, and contained 15½ prized Manila Lottery Tickets amounting to $465.

The tickets were: Ticket No. 2867 for February 1874 for $30, Ticket No. 5708 for $30, Ticket No. 6805 for $30, Ticket No. 8468 for $30, Ticket No. 8481 for $30, Ticket No. 770 for $180.
