daughter of 17 had given notice at the Chelsea Register Office, earlier in the day, of her proposed marriage to a naval sub- lieutenant, Major P. S. Jackson Taylor, of Egerton Mansions, Brompton-road, S.W., took steps to prevent the marriage from taking place.
