With fifteen 'teams entered in the men's doubles league, and the league back to its old constitution of two divisions, the badminton season in Hong- kong holds out every promise of being the most successful to date.
Last evening the Badminton Aeso- the task of clation struggled with forming two men's divisions, but it WOB finally accomplished, thanks largely to a magnanimous gesture on the part of Club de Recreio und

The Mixed doubles league com prises eight teams as against nine Inst season. This in due to the fact that St. Andrew's, S. and S. Home and Talkoo are not enmpeling, al though Kowloon Tong is putting in an additional team and University rome in for the first time,
available, while there are promising newcomers in Fletcher and da Rozu.
University will be without Lee Cheng-in, who last season played brilliantly for Eliot all, and it is possible they will be losing other well-known players after the Christ- man exams. But there are new- comers in abundance, and University will probably vie with Recreio for pride' of piace in the men's doubles
calor division.
Permission was last night granted to University to start their fixtures after Christmas, while V.B.C. will be allowed to play all their matches 'on opponents' courts as hitherto
