In reference to previous correspondence,
I am now directed by His Excellency The Governor to inform you that the Surveyor General, Mr. Janie, has seen a path along the line of the proposed new road, which it is intended to convert into a walking path until such time as the Government finds it possible to carry out the original project of making a carriage road.
