notes I hinted that the Hongkong L.T.A. was dissatis- fled with Shanghai's decision not to send an interport tennis team here this year, I writing purely my own impres- sions. Since then, however, un official and very emphatic state- ment has been made to me by Mr. Ng Sze-kwong, vice-Presi- dent of the 1.K.L.T.A. in which he strongly deprecates Shang- hal's policy. It is Mr. Ng's considered opinion that it was up to Shanghai to send an Inter-1 port team irrespective of whether it was the strongest representation or not. He in- sists that the whole idea of the exchange of visits by Colony and Shanghai sports teams is to bolster up friendly relationships
