Abortive Mutiny By Naval Vessels

CALM NOW RULES IN ALL PARTS OF COUNTRY

Lisbon, Sept. 8.

As a result of a mutiny aboard warhships in Lisbon's harbour, a "state of precaution" has been formally proclaimed.

Six were killed and nine wounded during the fighting during the morning, when warships and fortresses exchanged shell-fire..

An official communique states that the mutiny has been completely suppressed and all the mutineers im- prisoned.

It adds that the mutiny is condemned by the Navy and by the whole country, and absolute calm now reigns-Reuter Bulletin Service.
