*YOUR HAIR can look wonderfully sleek and shining, though it han the disadvantage of soon getting greasy and lank. Don't shampoo it more than once a fortnight as this only stimulates the oil glands which are already overworking, and when you do wash it use a soapless shampoo. Between whiles use a dry or spirit shampoo, and massage your scalp with a tonic lotion. Always add vinegar to the rinsing water, and a touch of glycerine and darkening bay ram to the brush.

At its worst has open an unattractive beigenen. Remedies: use very little face cream adopt lotions for cleansing and powder base. In winter-have a yeast pack to bleach out the yellowness and get rid of the spots; or make yourself a bleaching pack with white Fuller's Earth, peroxide and witchhazel. In summer-Lan faithfully: with bronzing lotion if there's sun, bronze-making Cotlon if there isn't.

10 M PLEXIONS are as varied as cocktails, and you the must have
right ingredients if you are going to get the best results.
To simplify this for you I have worked out eight "complexion cock. tails" with the correct ingredients in each.
1.-Ageing.
THE ageing skin bas very little connection with
age. It may nuke its appearance at twenty- five or forty-live. The danger points are the eyes, nose to mouth lines, and contour or jaw line.
Take care of your eyes by giving them a daily bath. One of the best eye lothing with an eye-bath

Before bed wash with special soap, 18, and warm water. Pat in special skin food, 39. Gd., followed by skin tonic, 2s. 6d.
If the eyelids are crepy or there are crows-feet or lines unter the eyes, smear on herbal eye issue oil. 6. 6d. Leave on while in the bath as steam increnses the good work.
In the morning pat skin toning lotion, is. 6d., under chin and jaw line.
Before bed wash with special soap, 18., and warm water. Put in special skin food, 3s. G., followed by skin tente, 2. Gd.
In the morning sponge with cool water only. Pat in a light foundation cream, 1s, 6d, dust over with sere roses powder, Bs. 6d, lightest roige, 1s. Gd., and light lipstick.
Two good exercises for ageing faces are:
(1) Fill the mouth with air and puff hard agains! the inside of your check and upper lip. Keep the lips slightly open, and release the air in little pits as if you were blowing a horn.

If there are signs of little red veins. the skin food should be followed two or three times a

A protective cream, 4s. Gd., as a powder foundation can be much more becoming if it is delicately tinted. A warm peach, Gd., or light rosee sere powder, 1s. 9d. no rouge and n very light lipstick, 3s.
J-Normal
(LEAN at night with lukewarm water and a light lather of mild complexion soap. Pat s. Bl, wipe off thoroughly in a complexion cream, afterwards with a soft towel.
In the morning sponge with cool water only. Make up with a light foundation, 14, 6., and a fine powder, id.
There is an attractive new range consisting of cream rouge, 2st, eye shadow, 25., and lipstick, as in the correct shades for every colouring.
.4.-Dry
USE cleansing milk, 18. 38., rinse off afterwards; anti-wrinkle cream round the eyes, 3s. 6d, special turtle oli akin' food, 45, patted in and wiped Rd., off afterwards. Light foundation cream, 15. natural, rachel or light powder, Ed.
5-Oily
at night with softened THOROUGH washing,
sponge, water, special soap and a rubbed followed by mild skin tonic, 2. ad.
In the morning plenty of sponging with luke-warm water with a few drops of eau-de-Cologne in it.
Liquid foundation, 28. Bd., fine powder, probably banana, deep rachel or warm lan shade.
6.-Sensitive
Kown treated to the wrong cosmeties. KIND of skin which protests with rashes and Burns easily in the sun, reddens easily in the wind.
The mildest cleansing milk, 1s. dd., or non-lather- ing soap, 1., should be used with luke-warm water for cleaning. A skin foud especially for By Ambrose Heath dry-skins, 38. 6d., should be patted in
