In all the columns I have read about the chances of our cricket team in Australia this winter there has been little mention of any Australian bowlers beyond O'Reilly and Grimmett. We have had good reason to look on these two as bogey-men. They have humbled the flower of English cricket on so many occasions.
Seeking consolation, some critics. argue that Grimmett is less effective | on Australian wickets than he is in this country and that he is now well In the category of veterans.
