Mr Bsc : then reads a letter from Mr Stewart Read Master of the Central School, in which that gentleman expresses his opinion that in view of the unacknowledged fact that Mr Heam was a frequenter of brothels, and in view of the notoriety which the charges brought against him had attained, coupled with the highly dishonourable part which there could be little doubt - Mr Heam had acted he considered that Mr Heam's further connection with their school would be highly prejudicial to the character of that institution, and he would therefore recommend that Mr Heam be at once suspended from his duties at the Central School pending any subsequent proceedings which the Council might think it advisable to adopt.
