Here are four of the five new highway beldges Just being completed by the Oregon State Highway Commission to open the scenic Oregon Coast Highway from the California line to Astoria as a splendid new fourlag route. From top to bottom: YAQUINÁ BAY BRIDGE at Newport; ALSEA BAY BRIDGE at Waldport; SAUSLAW RIVER BRIDGE at Florence; COOS BAY BRIDGE at Marshfield. In addition, there is a steel-and-concrete bridge across the Umpqua Elver at Reedsport. The bridge programme, which cost in excess of U.S.55,000,000 in the final step in developing what 群 Bitte more than a decade ago was a string of trails, dirt roads and village streets into one of the
