All of the local players were out of practice. J. J. Remedios played very well and all four ladies came fully up to expectation, notably in the mixed doubles games.

After the badminton, the visitors, which included Mr. and Mrs. Vilas Osatananda, were entertained to light refreshments. Mr. F. W. Stapleton. Kowloon Tong badminton convener with Mrs. Stapleton as hon, im-tong, Mr. Lal secretary of the Club was also present. Mr. Stapleton welcomed the Stamere players, thanking them and the Hong- kong players for offering such a fine entertainment, and congratulating all on their excellent performances
