I have the honor to apply most respectfully for the post of Registrar of the Supreme Court of Hong Kong, with the Offices connected therewith, now vacant through the decease of the late J. H. Alexander.
2. My previous services are as follows: – having been nominated by the Vice Chancellor of Cambridge as a candidate for the post of Student Interpreter in Her Majesty's Consular Service in China and Japan, I was approved by the Right Honorable the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs.
