His proper place is that of Clerk to the Court, and the other duties should be within their own power if required.
Have they considered that his being made M.L.C. and M.E.C. should be such as to cause his being in the interest of the general public, as per sec. 6 of Ordinance 5-1864, and the 1 sec. of the same Ordinance for the interest of the service?
