The Bankrupt Ordinance (1871)
provides (in Sections 70, 71 and 79) for audits by the official

creditors of assignees (when there is one) : of the Accounts of each other, and The Court (Section 99) may
require
"any account which is made by,

which comes to, the hands of the official assignee, again by
Section 181, the Court is to call
a
special meeting of creditors
at some
time, at which a
statement of the whole estate of the Bankrupt and of receipts and payments is to be produced; the official Assignee
is bound to attend
