Copy of a despatch which as Senior Military Officer for the time being he has addressed to Her Majesty's Secretary of State for War on the subject of the cession of War Department Land to the Colonial Government.
I hope to address Your Lordship further upon this subject by the first ensuing mail, when I shall be in a position to offer the remarks which the despatch may seem to call for.
