Albert Randall, aged 27, and seven Chinese made a fifth appearance be fore Mr. S. F. Balfour at the Central Magistracy on Saturday, on a charge of conspiring to bribe Revenue Officer Mo Kang and other Revenue Officers, with intent to influence them against prosecuting or giving information which might lead to the prosecution of certain offenders under the Oplum Ordinance.

Randall is further charged with giving a bribe of $500 to R. O. Ma Kang at the To Yuen Restaurant. The seven Chinese charged are Li. Vick, 32, shop keeper, Leung Yau, 42, un

mployed, Ilo Lol, 27, salesman, Ho Shum, 29, unemployed, Li Kwai-yick, 40, unemployed, Kwan Sing, 34, un- employed, and Ngan Cheong, 29 unemployed.

PILOT'S DARING ESCAPE FROM FRANCE

Drouillet sought and obtained per- mission to remove the machine from the

COMPLETION

Canton, April 24. The work оп the Shlukwan- Chuchow section of Aho Canton- Hankow Railway la almost completed, except for the laying of ralls, which is expected to be finished before and of May, states a spokesman of the local administration of the Canton- Hankow Railway to-day.
