Mr. Justice Horridge in the King's Bench Division found that Nurse Ada Margaret Miles and Nurse Olive Gwendolen Chapman were "guilty of negligence" in miarending the drachms sign for ounces, thus causing Mrs, Strangways-Lesmere, patient at Wey- mouth District Hospital, to be given a fatal overdose.
