"JAHANARA”
Our story starts from the country of Arabia the land of Romance. Abdul Malik the richest merchant of the country is well known. as a miser of his time, and has a beautiful daughter known as Jahanara. The passionata love of wealth has so much influence upon Abdul Malik's mind that he daily walks out in the night during his aleeping hour and visits the cave of his hiddon treasure.
Prince Sayid the only son of Shah Umran is deeply in love with Jahanara and she also loves him. Except Wazir Jalal no one knows about this Romance. The lovers were getting the opportunity of meeting every night during Abdul Malik's sleeping walk.
Bhah Umran seeks advice of Wazir Jalal to arrange Prince Sayed's marriage. Wazir betrays the whole secret of Prince Sayed's love with Jahanara and says that if Shah does not believe he can show everything to-night, and on the very night they see Abdul Malik going out as usual. Shah having no knowledge of his habit thinks that he is giving en opportunity to the lovers. Shah rebukes Jahanara and takes away the prince with him.
On the same eventful night Khalil and Jamil two vagabonds were slooping outside the hidden treasure cave of Malik. Malik passes over the foot of Khalil, he got up and both follow him. In the cave they sco Abdul Malik and his wealth. No sooner he goes out they stop in and take possession of the whole lot.
Next morning Abdul Mulik was brought before the King, not being able to reply to the Royal queries he was ordered for two hundred lashes, and property to be confiscated and not being satisfied by this punishment, orders his soldiers to disfigure the beautiful face of Jahanara,
Salvan the faithful slave of Prince Bayed on his Master's Instructions rushes to Jahanara and helps her to run away before the Royal soldiers arrive. Rushing and chasing between the soldiers and Jahanara was fruitless.
The hiddon treasure the only consolation place for Abdul Malik being already looted by Khalil and Jamil affects his mind so much that he loses his sense of reason.
Jahanara wandering in a jungle one day was picked up by a caravan of Mr. Azam. He wanted to outrage her. chastity and In the meantime a dwarf throws his dogger and kills the vicious Asam. His comrades taking Jahamrathe murdereas of Azam decide to kill her but one of them suggest to sell her that they may be able to get some money.
Accidently those vagabonds who acquired the wealth of her father happen to buy her.
Prince Sayed not being able to bear the separation of Jahanara is seriously ill and all attempts so far falled. Gazban the commander-in-chief Shah Umran is taking advantage of the liness of Prince Sayed and the worries of the King and plans to take possession of the Kingdom.
Jahanara comes know of the plan of Garban, aho escapes from the house of Jamil and seeks entrance to the palace of Shah Umran in disguise of a Hakim to cure the Prince. The king allows him to treat the prince on the condition that if the prince is not cured ha will bo put to death, Jahanara agrees and enters the room of the sick prince and removes every one from the room. She removes her disguise and the Prince finding his own Jahanara is everjoyed. The lovers are in happy, dreams of love suddenly the dwarf comes running in and Informe Jahanara that Gazban has reached, the room of the king to murder him.
Jahanara rushes towards the King's room the Prince stops her and ask the explanation of this exciternent. She promises the prince to explain everything later on and goes away. Shah Umram is fast asleep Gazban entors the room from the secret door and is on the point of killing the King and at the same moment the sword of Jahanara flashes.
