MISSING FATHER

Rome, April 7. "Where is the Negus?" is the question observers along the northern front are asking to-day.

It is presumed that he abandoned his motor car, which Italian troops have found, because he feared it would attract the attention of bombing planes, and that he travelled southwards towards Dessiye, after his defeat at Lake Ashangi on mule-back.

The Crown Prince is moving out of Dessiye with 2,000 men to find and protect his father, the Emperor.
