Fear of failure has once again been shown to be the explanation of an undergraduate's suicide.
Fear of failure was the explanation of six similar tragedies concerning `, Oxford and Cambridge under- graduates during the past year.
A Cambridge inquest last month revealed that before nine- teen-year-old undergraduate Martin Glies Falk leaped to his death from a window of his apartment in King's-parade, he wrote letter to his parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Falk, of, Sion-walk. Clifton, Bristol. It contained this passage:-
